What skill was more important to the hunter/warrior than to move unobserved through the forest. Learn how to become invisible by moving silently and unnoticed in the forest, covering your scent, and flowing amongst wildlife without disturbing them. Practice tracking and stalking. Over the course of the 2-day class, participants will have the opportunity to observe wild life. Bring your own food. |

Join us for a spring walk with the woodstuning in and observing, identifying, and discussing all that we see--and understand more fully what is available, learn about the many functional uses, and ultimately realize the potential self-sufficiency of the forest. During our exploration of local botany, we will learn about not only individual plants, but how many of like species are interrelated with similar properties and identifying features. |

Participants will spend (3) days in the woods practicing the skills needed to live off the land. We will harvest wild foods, practice fire-making and trapping. We will build shelters and a wide variety of other skills needed to stay alive in the forest. |

Paddle in canoes and kayaks for a 3-day camp-out along the banks of the Shenandoah River. We will practice archery and flintknapping in a real-time setting and harvest as much of our food as possible from nature. We will rise for early morning hunts and fish to our hearts desire.
